So you post a picture of extension cords that were recently mathematically proven will entangle themselves through random interactions and then claim the same cannot be done in nature.

Anyone knows complexity arises from simple rules, play any game in history, with as few simple rules like Go and the possibilities are literally endless.

That being said, what is the evidence: all the simpler single and multi-cell organism you ignored. This is like textbook evolutionary science, high school or first year college textbooks should cover this topic. There are plenty of evidence of simpler life forms both modern and fossilized at the geological scales.

Any news on JWs in the Ukraine?

the war in the ukraine has been going on for 2+ years now, yet very little has been put forth by the org on how the witnesses are doing there.

especially of interest would be just how the org has implemented their relatively new 'alternative service is ok' policy in lieu of real military service in a place where warfare is actually occurring.

yet nothing is forthcoming from the gb on this matter, or any other issues, really.. does anyone know what's been going on the regarding the witnesses there?.

How the times have changed, I heard from someone else they started appointing illegal immigrants as ministerial servants and they carry mikes as well.

The Ukrainian government has recently banned lots of religions it deems to go against its interests, especially going after evangelicals and other Christians the WEF deems dangerous to its progressive agenda. If JWs were still hardcore pacifist and anti-government, they would probably be in trouble.

Like everything else, I think the WTBTS is going to be talking out of both sides and split the baby, like it did when tons of black JW voted for Obama, they just kind of did a tisk tisk at the convention which was the first time I noticed a big change in their approach.

I’m sure there are JW swept up in the nationalist socialism prevalent in Ukraine or the Putin communist propaganda on the other side. The times of going hard against a cause like they did at the time of the Vietnam war and post WW2 mandatory service is over. I was trained from young age to go 2 years to jail for service with fiery speeches from CO and conventions and this was later converted to a possibility of public service and then rescinded just a few years before my 18th birthday, now, they can’t be bothered to draw a line, just speaking in platitudes.

There are plenty of evolutionary reasons to invent religion. What we see today is a distillation of many similar ideas that eventually harken back to being afraid of the dark. Apparently the humans that could imagine something terrible in the dark lived longer than those that didn’t, which makes sense and reinforces that something terrible lives in the dark. From there it is ghost stories that develop into tribal and later communal knowledge. Not hard to imagine, every child does it.

just a moment ago irán started to attack israel, guess they're gonna end in ruins because israel has a way better army than other country in the region and the support of the us....hope the gas prices don't increase too much.... wonder how the borg gonna spin it..

As far as what Iran did, it was an attempt at killing thousands of Jews, it was an unprovoked attack on sovereign territory, Israel rightly slammed back on Iranian territory in concert with the Saudi and Jordanian military.

Israël did not bomb an embassy, it targeted with a precision rocket strike a military compound. Per international law, you cannot use an embassy as a military base, which Iran does on a regular basis just like Hamas and the UN uses schools and hospitals in Gaza as military compounds in violation of the Geneva convention just so the useful idiots in the West have something to crow about when they get struck.

All that needs to be done is put Iran back under Trump’s economic embargo, instead the Biden admin funded this entire war.

I do get where those stories are coming from though. When I was young, and I did things that perhaps people shouldn't do, I made up excuses and when I was young, it was easy to blame a friend for goading you into doing something bad, later on, it became a bit harder and when a young adult, I used alcohol as a crutch.

But yeah, the whole "my classmates made me do it" and "everyone does it" and "they forced me to do it" is just an excuse teenagers will use for doing things they know they shouldn't be doing and in the cult you can even get a part at the circuit assembly talking about some exaggerated story, I was the one on that platform, although despite my story which started off pretty tame (in reality I talked to a friend and gave them a tract), the thing became produced, they rewrote my story using a WT article trying to make a point and basically the whole thing was an act.

It's a boring talk, he hints at more changes to come (around 18:30) but then admits just because he's from Bethel he doesn't actually know. Basically the whole thing comes down to the argument that there have always been changes, so don't be surprised when there are changes, listen and obey, don't question. Gaslighting, that's all it is.

The US won't retaliate against Iran after Iran attacks Israel, leaves dead 1200 and captures 250 including US citizens, most of them are raped and massacred in captivity. So Iran escalates with 170 attacks on US military bases, including a full blown attack drone strike on Israel leaving several US citizens and military wounded and killed. And the US still won't retaliate.

Speak about the most feckless, anti-semitic President in US history. How long do you think it will take China now to invade Taiwan after this show of force. Even Ukraine is saying they no longer have a chance, that Russia will soon initiate its attacks against major cities. This, people, is what happens when you go with the Obama-Biden policy of cowardice and apology.
